  3. The Federal Reserve is going to be issuing a rule of enacting new credit cards starting February 22nd. Retail sales have taken a fall in December. Game prizes are not as expensive and flashy as they used to be. The unemployment claims have gone higher, maybe these people should just get jobs. Also could these people one of the reasons that our economy is bad?

    @Mandee Maybe they are not able to get jobs. I have hard working friends with families to provide for that have went from 6 digits a year to working at McDonalds.

    3. Gas prices are slowly rising to 3 dollars. It has increased 8 cents over the last five days. Alaska gas prices are 3.373 a gallon.
    4. Americans filling claims for unemployment insurance fell last week to the lowest in 17 months. There were 432,000 jobless claims filed in the week ended December 26.

  23. Last week the number of unemployed Americans jumped slightly from 433,000 to 444,000 which is an increase of 11,000. However we are still moving in the right direction because the four week moving average is at its lowest since 2008.

    Today, President Obama , through congress, has taxed the largest banks in America to ensure that taxpayers don't lose money via the federal bailout of the insurance, financial, and auto industries. The plan would raise an estimated 90 billion dollars over 10 years.

    The U.S. government posted a debt of 91.9 billion dollars for the month of December making it the 15th straight in debt month. The amount of debt is expected to reach 1.42 trillion in 2010.

This is kinda off subject but i saw on conspiracy theories last night that the government is building 2012 bunkers all over the us and there is one confirmed bunker that the government has said is for 2012 and is guarded by military who are authorized to shoot civilians if they try to get in that means they are spending money to protect rich people and the government robert
